Exciting Atmosphere as 50K Freshmen Begin Enrollment: Welcoming a Generation of Intelligent, Dynamic, and Creative Students

On the morning of August 24, thousands of new students and their parents gathered at the University of Economics - University of Danang (DUE) campus to begin their enrollment procedures. The DUE campus was livelier than ever, filled with a mix of emotions, as pride and excitement blended with the slight nervousness of the 50K freshmen who officially became part of the DUE family.

Starting from 7:30 AM, the enrollment process was in full swing. The university had developed a clear and efficient plan, with detailed instructions placed at various locations to ensure the smoothest possible experience for the new students. Additionally, staff and students were stationed at several advisory desks to assist the freshmen with questions related to academic activities, dormitory registration, health checks, and more. This helped both students and parents complete the procedures quickly and efficiently. The well-organized enrollment process provided the new students with a positive and memorable first day at DUE.

In the midst of the excitement and pride, Do Quynh Nhu, a new student in the Economics program, and Bui Thi Thu Uyen, a new student in the Economic Law program, shared: "We are very happy and proud to become DUE freshmen because this is the school we’ve always dreamed of. We’ve heard that the school has many clubs and teams, and we are eager to join them to make the most of our time at university."

Sharing her thoughts on the first day of enrollment, Nguyen Nhu Quynh, a new Marketing student from Phu Vang District, Thua Thien Hue Province, said: "I’m very happy to be part of this school, and I’m sure that in the next four years, I will do my best to carry on the success of previous generations. This morning has been so meaningful. The campus is so green and beautiful, and the staff and students have been incredibly helpful, which made me feel much more comfortable and at ease. I’m sure my four years at DUE will be full of great memories."

The parents of Nguyen Le Thien Anh, a new student in the International Business program from Quang Tri Province, expressed: "Today, the whole family came to accompany Thien Anh on his enrollment day. It’s a shared joy and pride for the entire family that one of our members is now a part of DUE. We wish all the freshmen to stay enthusiastic and confident as they integrate into this new environment, and to become the intelligent, dynamic, and creative generation of DUE."

Additionally, all academic departments held meetings to discuss important issues with the parents of new students.

After completing the enrollment procedures, freshmen had the opportunity to experience various club and team activities, introduced by senior students.

On the same day, after submitting their enrollment documents at Hall E, the freshmen moved to Lecture Hall A for their initial health check.
