A high-quality learning environment

The University of Economics identifies quality as a vital factor, demonstrating social responsibility to learners and the community. Therefore, the school focuses on the quality of admission, constantly improving the quality of training and scientific research to attract talented students from all over the country. “The school always takes the learner as the center, strengthens the facilities, and the potential of the faculty (most of which are trained abroad) to inspire students, ready to become the best teachers in the world. global citizens and the country to integrate into the 4.0 era”, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Manh Toan, Principal of the school said.

In consecutive enrollment seasons over the years, the school has always achieved 100% of its target with admission scores among the top universities in the country (average 22 to 26 points). The school actively opened new training disciplines such as Data Science and Business Analytics, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, E-commerce, etc. to serve the development needs of Da Nang city according to the requirements of Da Nang city Resolution No. 43-NQ/TW of the Politburo as well as the central regions - Central Highlands and the whole country.

According to Assoc.Prof.Dr. Dinh Thanh Viet, Head of Education Quality Assurance Department of the University of Danang, from 2018 to now, the school has 5 training programs that meet international quality standards (AUN-QA of Southeast Asia). As planned, in August, the school will have 3 more training programs accredited according to the international quality standard AUN-QA. Being dynamic, autonomous, and integrated, the school's students are increasingly achieving outstanding achievements in national and international competitions and academic playgrounds, such as First prize for students in National scientific research (2020), the first winner of the Accounting-Finance contest (Virtual Finhack-2019) organized by the British Association of Certified Public Accountants, the second prize (no first prize) of the prestigious Eureka Award National Scientific Research Fellow (2018), First Prize “Talent Searching for Management Information Systems 4.0” (2018)…

Towards a "green", comfortable, friendly university

The highlight that brings a new look to the University of Economics is a multi-purpose building (9 floors, usable area of ​​6,500m2), located in the middle of green campus with many functions, utilities and high aesthetics that has just been approved by the school. By dedicating one of the four functional blocks to arrange a more convenient working space for scientists and professors, the University of Economics is one of the leading universities, showing its importance, treatment for intellectuals and sages.

In addition, the school always focuses on improving the environment, learning and living conditions are more comfortable and friendly, inspiring both teachers and students. For example Research room for scientists and lecturers; a Center for the practice of tourism - a hotel; "5-star standard" Dormitory for international students... These are breakthroughs thanks to savings, mobilizing a lot of resources to enhance facilities, serving the goal of improving the quality of training and scientific research - two pillars for the school's sustainable development.

The "Green University DUE" project launched by the Youth Union and Student Union from the beginning of 2021 carries the message: "Join hands for a "green" university, a green future community" attracting a large number of students. Volunteers register and complete to live green, protect the environment in their ways such as: Saying no to plastic products, not using plastic straws, exchanging plastic products for glass bottles, raising awareness in waste classification, or the choice of means of transportation to school by tram or bus...

“Every day a green action helps me form good habits, making a small contribution to creating a green university”, shared Nguyen Nhu Quan, Faculty of Business Administration. The campaign "Growing trees - Giving livelihoods" was also mobilized by the Student Union to raise funds. Accordingly, the campaign to donate and plant more than 500 new Sao Den trees for people in Xuyen Dong 2 (Quang Nam province) to continue taking care of. After harvesting, people will use that money to buy seedlings for the next crops.

Assessing the school's activities, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu, President of the University of Danang, commented that the work and achievements in the past time are evidence that affirms the prestige and academic reputation of the University of Economics - a training and scientific research center.
