Revealing five outstanding ideas to compete at Startup Runway 2021 Finals

On April 18, at the University of Economics - UD, the TOP 10 of Startup Runway 2021 had an excellent performance in the Semi-Final Round of the contest. All teams in turn give new perspectives, creative approaches and solutions to their startup ideas as well as their competition topics.
The semi-final round was attended by prestigious guests who are experts in entrepreneurship as well as representatives of the University of Economics. On the side of the University of Economics, there was the presence of Assoc.Prof.Dr. Dang Huu Man – Head of Science & International Cooperation Department, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Dat – Secretary of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Dr. Cao Tri Dung – Director of the Center for Student Support & Corporate Relations – One of the five judges of the contest. The jury panel at the Semi-finals were experts: Dr. Huynh Huy Hoa - Director of the Institute of Socio-Economic Development Research of Da Nang City; Mr. Le Hoang Anh – Founder & CEO, Chairman Multi Vietnam, Jsc; Mr. Ho Quang Dung – Strategy Director of Enouvo Group; Ms. Nguyen Thi Tram Anh – Operation Director of Hekate Technology Joint Stock Company; Dr. Cao Tri Dung - Chairman of Danang Tourism Association.

In the semi-finals, 10 teams presented their ideas as well as discussed with the Jury the advantages and disadvantages of the business model. Creative ideas and well-invested persuasive presentations made the semi-finals attractive. After 03 hours of fair work, the jury selected the top 5 best finalists based on the evaluation criteria of originality, practicality, and persuasion of the groups.

The Startup Runway 2021 contest with the theme "Unicorn to be..." has gone 3/4 of the way and is ready for the final round. Outstandingly overcoming more than 50 ideas and 3 rounds full of difficulties and challenges, TOP 5 Most Talented Teams of Startup Runway Contest 2021 have moved closer to the destination of the journey of becoming a "unicorn".
