Startup runway 2021: Discover secrets about business concepts

Recently, on March 6, 2021, at Hall E of the University of Economics - UD, the first Training session of the Startup Runway 2021 competition took place successfully. An honorary Training session in the presence of Ph.D. Le Thi Minh Hang - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Business Administration and Ph.D. Phan Hoang Long - Lecturer of Faculty of Business Administration, especially the presence of more than 100 participants. The first training session brought useful business knowledge through the sharing of 2 trainers and gave contestants many optimal learning opportunities at this year's Startup Runway competition.
Only in a short time, the concepts of ideas and business opportunities have been explained easily and practically through real situations by Ph.D. Le Thi Minh Hang. She opened her presentation by helping contestants to have a clearer definition of the business idea and features required when it comes to business ideas: trends, source of ideas, customer segments... Besides, the contest teams were also clearly analyzed by the doctor on the minimum viable MVP product.

Ph.D. Phan Hoang Long continued his presentation while guiding teams to take steps of expertise, analysis of SWOT and PESTLE model. Besides, a business model also has other impacts such as culture, society, science and technology, the environment. Finally, after determining the SWOT model, analyze Pestel, TS. Phan Hoang Long repeatedly asked questions to determine the strengths that teams hold as well as the limitations that need to be overcome in his business idea.

After the presentations of the two speakers, the contestants freely presented their ideas and received answers to questions as well as provide more information on related issues. With short, practical, easy-to-understand instructions and interesting practical examples, the two trainers helped the teams somewhat know where to start and how to start to get a lesson in the most creative contest.
