Outstanding students of DUE: Never stop dreaming and contributing as a youth of DUE

At the second official university graduation ceremony, many youths of DUE were recognized by the school for their achievements and honors in many fields: academic performance, active participation in Communist Youth Union scientific research, social work. In almost field that they are in, DUE youths always give their best and express the spirit of Bravery – Dynamism - Creation and build beautiful images of students the University of Economics - the University of Danang.

1. Nguyen Thuy Duong (International Business Department): When starting a business is her passion

Not only is the valedictorian with outstanding academic achievement (GPA 3.72), Nguyen Thuy Duong is also known for being the third-place winner of the 2018 Startup Runway competition. In addition, Duong is an exchange student at Cork Institute of Technology (Ireland) in 2017 and also a 5-year student at Danang University. In addition, Duong won many certificates of merit at the University of Da Nang, at the school level, and active students in Union activities. It can be said that Nguyen Thuy Duong is the pride of the Department of International Business and youth of the University of Economics with the desire to succeed by the desire to start a business.

2. Le Hoang Thao Nguyen: "Miracles only appear when we try in every situation"

If you are a student participating in the activities of the Faculty organized by the Union School, you must be familiar with Le Hoang Thao Nguyen - Associate Secretary of the Marketing Department of the term 2016 - 2019.

Initially noticed with a striking appearance, Thao Nguyen proved that her charisma did not stop there. On the contrary, she is very passionate about studying and active in many activities of Marketing Department, of the Union, constantly making many outstanding achievements that make her friends admire. She graduated in Marketing Management from Marketing Department with high GPA score: 3.52. At the same time, she also received a certificate of merit from the headmaster of the University of Economics for excellent academic achievement in the 2017-2018 school year.

In addition, Thao Nguyen also received many outstanding certificates such as:

- Certificate from University of Economics University for outstanding contribution in the 2017-2019 term.

- Certificate from Da Nang City Student Association for outstanding achievements in the volunteer program in the 2017-2018 school year.

- Certificate from the Principal for outstanding achievements in the 2016 - 2017.

When asked about the motivation to make such outstanding achievements, Thao Nguyen confidently affirmed that all the achievements were inspired through reading many books, participating in many common learning forums. The favourite quote of the deputy secretary was "If the we really had a miracle, it was another name of “effort". So, no matter how difficult it is, don't be discouraged and give up.

3. Nguyen Anh Phuong (Faculty of Business Administration): Men are never afraid of difficulties.

Nguyen Anh Phuong is the only male valedictorian in this year's Faculty of Business Administration Part of this boy's youth at the University is contributed to summer programs, volunteer and mid-autumn for children. It was the most beautiful time when Phuong could work hard without overthinking. It is possible to brew earth, build roads, repair roofs or pick up bottles, pack flowers and sell moon cakes to raise funds or to spread your heart to the remote areas.

Another piece of beautiful memories of youth is the part-time work that helps bring knowledge from class into reality. Positions such as logistics, purchasing and logistics in ports, supermarkets and hotels help Phuong experience and have an overall view of the supply chain and logistics sector, a promising industry in Vietnam in the coming time.

Phuong conceived human maturity is a process of silently accumulating, step by step, great things often stem from small things. Therefore, he always silently try, learn, and seek to create value for himself and thereby achieve his current achievements.

4. Nguyen Quang Thanh (Accounting Department): A promising employee of the audit firm Deloitte

Achieving a cumulative grade point average of 3.67, Nguyen Quang Thanh has excelled to become the valedictorian of the Faculty of Accounting in 2019. That title is a worthy reward for the efforts of Quang Thanh for 4 years of study. Besides the high score, the confidence and dynamism helped Quang Thanh own for the remarkable achievement. It is not wrong to say Quang Thanh is the boy of scholarship.

- ERASMUS + scholarship for the entire exchange session at Westphalian University, Germany in 2017 in the Student Exchange Project of the University of Economics.

- Scholarship of University of Economics - Danang University in 6/8 semesters;

- Working for Deloitte Auditing Company.

When asked about the desire, Thanh shared:

“Although 4 years of university is not too long, I have learned many things and have many beautiful experiences, marking a meaningful student life. Teachers are the people who I want to send my deepest gratitude, gratitude, because not only did they share their knowledge and skills but they are also examples of morality, about personality so that I can follow in the coming life. In terms of infrastructure, the school is invested with very spacious and modern facilities, creating maximum conditions for teaching and learning, bringing many new experiences for students, contributing to improving the quality of training and images of the school. Now standing at the end of the university path, looking back on the past 4 years of college, I feel extremely proud to be a student under the roof of the school and now about to become a new bachelor of the University of Economics – the University of Danang. "
