The 5th Job fair: Forming a bridge between workers and enterprises

In the morning of June 15, 66 businesses, corporations and companies in Da Nang and Central HighLands and thousands of students and workers were present at the 2019 Job Fair organized by the University of Economics – The University of Danang in cooperation with Department of Department of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs. Attending the festival were Ms. Phan Thi Thuy Linh - Department of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs, representatives of enterprises; towards the University of Economics, Associate Professor. Nguyen Manh Toan - Rector of the University and leaders of Faculties, Departments and Centers directly under the University of Economics.

Opening the Employment Day, Mr. Nguyen Van An - Deputy Director of the Department of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs emphasized that this annual employment session has connected labor supply and demand between businesses and workers, contributing to the successful achievement of the city's "employment" program. The representative of the Department hoped that the event of the Job Fair will be organized more frequently with higher efficiency, thereby contributing to job growth and improving the quality of human resources, meeting the requirements of enterprises encouraging socio-economic development of Da Nang city.

Assoc.Prof Dao Huu Hoa - Vice Rector of the University of Economics – The University of Danang said that the Job Fair taking place in the second official university graduation ceremony has contributed to offering job opportunities for new graduates in this phase. Besides, the fair demonstrated efforts of The University of Economics in securing employment and supporting the search for job opportunities of students. Final year students and students who are still studying also had the opportunity to approach employers from the fields that are being trained, so that they can supplement and improve their knowledge and skills, especially in the explosion of the industrial revolution 4.0.

The Job Fair 2019 with the participation of 132 enterprises (66 enterprises participated in direct recruitment) brought nearly 5600 job positions. The field of recruitment is opened to many fields: from economic management, financial accounting, executive management, administration, engineers, technicians, to sales staff, hotel services, restaurants, etc.

Coming to this year's Job fair, there are big enterprises such as FPT, Vin Group, Sun Group, ABBank, MBBank, PNJ, Mobifone, Eurowindow, which have shown the reputation of the event.
