Academic Extracurricular with Heriot-Watt University

On April 24 and 26, 42K students majoring in Corporate Finance and Financial Management attended the lectures on Financial Investment and Advanced Financial Management presented by professors from Heriot-Watt University (UK). These guest lectures are parts of the academic extracurricular activities for Faculty of Finance students.

At the session with Corporate Finance students (April 24), Dr. Andrea Eross presented the topic "How securities are trading" and shared useful knowledge about the stock market including how companies issue securities, securities trading strategies, and different forms of markets.

Meanwhile, at the session with Financial Management students (April 26), Dr. John Edward presented the topic “The Market for Corporate Control (MCC): A view of mergers and acquisitions in the UK”. The guest lecturers conveyed the knowledge using specific and vivid real-world examples.
