INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION

Wishing to build a learning environment and integrated research and international standards for all students as well as lecturers, the Faculty of Finance always focuses on building international cooperation relationships with universities and organizations Reputable education worldwide.


TRAINING COOPERATION

According to the agreement to make a memoranda of cooperation between the University of Da Nang- University of Economics and Massey University which is a prestigious and multidisciplinary University of New Zealand, signed in August 2014. Students who studied at High quality program of the majors of the Faculty (Financial Management and Corporate Finance) are recognized and transitioned to study and receive Massey University degrees according to 2.5 + 1.5 ; 2 + 2; 1 + 3.


In addition, students of the high quality program of the Faculty also have the opportunity to study transfer programs to other foreign universities such as Keuka University, Towson University, State Sealte University (United States), Newcastle University, Hull University, Northumbria University, University of Sunderland ( English), Saxion University of Applied Sciences (Netherlands), Swinburne University (Australia).


In 2014, Vo Cong Nghia and Tran Nguyen Hong Van, study at 37K16 class, were the first students of the High Quality -Financial Management major in training program and participate in the final year transition study at the University of Sunderland (UK) - a prestigious partner of the University of Economics since 2013 under the agreement between the two universities.

Especially, at the end of the course in September 2015, Tran Nguyen Hong Van was honored and received the Handelsbanken Award - the annual award honored the best students who are studying the Finance - Banking program at the University of Sunderland. In pride and honour, Hong Van shared: "It is very happy that I can get this award, it proves that my efforts in learning all the time have been recognized. Handelsbaken Award also encourages her to continue her studies in Finance, she will continue to pursue a Master's program at the University of Sunderland to improve her knowledge in her field of passion."

EXCHANGE STUDENTS

In addition to promoting transnational education programs, the Faculty of Finance also make conditions for students in Financial Management and Corporate Finance major with the opportunity to receive International Student Exchange scholarships.

 

In 2014, Dinh Bao Kim, studied at 37K16 class of Faculty of Finance was sent him to study under the exchange program with Turku University of Applied Sciences (Finland) for a period of 3 months (August 27 / 2014-28 November 2014). With scholarships received from Turku school, Bao Kim is covered with the full cost of studying, living, insurance, transportation as well as assistance with completing visa procedures. In addition to having access to a new educational environment with International Business major, Bao Kim also has the opportunity to learn about culture and people in here. Not only that, on weekends or holidays, Bao Kim and international friends also travel to explore other European lands such as Estonia, France, Germany and Sweden.

In another international student exchange program, at the end of March 2016, Luu Yen Chau, student of class 38K16, Faculty of Finance set foot on beautiful Germany under the Student Exchange Scholarship program with Westphalian University of Applied Sciences. Experiences about the learning of process in modern and dynamic international environment of Chau and Linh are shared here.



RESEARCH COOPERATION

About research cooperation, lecturers of the Faculty of Finance always try to maintain and collaborate research with Professors of the Institute of Global Finance, University of New South Wales (Australia), and scientists of some prestigious universities in some countries like USA, Australia, and New Zealand.

In recent years, the Faculty of Finance has also frequently coordinated with the Vietnam International Finance Association (VIFAI), with universities in Viet Nam in particular and abroad in general to organize international financial conferences to be evaluated high standard, such as Vietnam International Conference in Finance - VICIF 2016, International Conference on Accounting and Finance (ICOAF 2016).
