Student Union of the Faculty of Economics has won the Due League 2017-2018 football tournament.

After 8 months of thrilling and fiercely competitive matches, the "DUE LEAGUE" football season for students of the University of Economics has reached its final stage. This year's tournament acknowledged the efforts and dedication of 10 football teams representing 10 Student Unions, who showcased captivating performances for the audience, demonstrating their passion for football and the fiery enthusiasm of the young students at the University of Economics.
On May 18, 2018, at 6:00 PM, the University of Economics organized the Closing and Award Ceremony at the university's football field. During this event, Mr. Le Dinh Quang Phuc, the Head of the tournament organizing committee, delivered a congratulatory speech, applauding the success of the season and expressing gratitude to the tournament committee members, referees, and all the players who wholeheartedly participated, contributing to the creation of exciting matches and impressive football moments since the tournament's official commencement.
Following Mr. Phuc's speech, the championship cup, medals, certificates, and commemorative flags were presented to acknowledge the outstanding individuals and teams throughout the tournament.
🏆 The championship title of this tournament was claimed by the team representing the Student Union of the Faculty of Economics. The second-place position was secured by the team known as the "Orange Storm" from the Student Union of the Faculty of Business Administration, and the third-place position was attained by the team from the Student Union of the Faculty of Political Economics.
🎖️ Additionally, the organizing committee decided to award the Stylish Play accolade to the team representing the Student Union of the Faculty of Finance.
Apart from the team awards, the contributions and achievements of exceptional individual players who delivered impressive performances throughout the season were also recognized.
🎖️ The "Top Scorer" award was presented to Tran Thanh Tung, a student from the Faculty of Banking, who scored the most goals in the tournament.
🎖️ The "Outstanding Goalkeeper" award was earned by Huynh Ho Trung, a student from the Faculty of Economics, recognized as the best goalkeeper in terms of saves and interceptions against opponents.
🎖️ And the "Outstanding Player" award was given to Ho Quoc Nam, a student from the Faculty of Economics.
The success of this season was attributed to the enthusiastic participation, effort, and determination of the players on the field, as well as the silent dedication and wholehearted support of the organizing committee members and referees, who worked impartially to provide the best playing conditions for the athletes.
Let us extend our congratulations to the winning teams and the accomplishments of the players. We would also like to express our gratitude to the players representing the Student Unions of various faculties who demonstrated outstanding performance and wholehearted dedication throughout the season.
Based on the success of this tournament, it promises to pave the way for future tournaments, creating an environment for training, improving fitness, and fostering opportunities for exchange and learning among the students studying at the University of Economics - Danang University.
