Closing ceremony of the 135th AUN-QA programme assessment of the Asean University Network

On the morning of February 20, 2019, the University of Economics and the University of Foreign Language Studies ​​– The University Danang held a closing session to evaluate the quality of the 135th AUN-QA programme assessment of the ASEAN University Network for 3 training programs: Business Administration, Accounting and International Studies.

At the Closing session, the auditors had preliminary reports, strengths, potentials and aspects to overcome according to the AUN-QA standards of the three training programs participating in accreditation. After more than 2 working days, AUN-QA Council evaluated 3 training programs according to the following criteria: Expected learning outcomes; program description; program structure and content; teaching and learning methods; student quality; student assessment; quality of lecturers; quality of support staff, student quality and support activities; facilities and infrastructure; improve the quality of education; standard output.

Prof. Dr. Fauza Ab. Ghaffar - Head of the Union recommends leaders of schools, faculties and branches of the two schools should enhance exchanges with training institutions around the world, especially in Southeast Asia to get more practice for change and develop disciplines and increase student and faculty exchange opportunities between schools in the region. On behalf of the evaluation team, AUN, Prof.Dr Fauza Ab. Ghaffar thanked the leaders of the two schools, three faculties and officials, lecturers, students, and alumni who collaborated with the delegation to effectively implement the accreditation.

Also at the closing session, Assoc.Prof.Dr Tran Huu Phuc - Rector of the University of Foreign Languages ​​sent his sincere thanks to the experts of the delegation for assessing AUN, the members participated and cooperated fully in this assessment, At the same time, emphasizing through this activity, the accredited units identify strengths and limitations that need to be overcome in order to improve the quality of training. In addition, the leaders of the two schools also thanked the lecturers, staff, students, alumni, businesses, press and media agencies for their interest, support and monitoring of inspection activities. this time. Leaders of the two schools hope to have more training programs that are accredited and meet AUN-QA standards.

For more than 2 working days, there were 24 academic, professional and SAR writing leaders; 60 alumni, 41 businesses, 60 lecturers, 52 support staff and 60 students of 3 Faculties were interviewed during this assessment. The total number of attendees was 297 with 30 members of the organizing committee and 3 independent interpreters.
