Strengthen cooperation with Keimyung University, Korea

During the participation in the international student exchange program in Daegu, representatives of the University of Danang had a meeting with representatives of Keimyung University on the afternoon of July 5, 2017.

 

Participants from UD included Dr. Dang Huu Man - Deputy Head of Research & International Cooperation Department, University of Economics; Mr. Nguyen Van Ca - Vice Head of Student Affairs Department, University of Science & Technology and Mr. Dinh Hoang Quan - Officer of International Cooperation Department, UD. In addition, Ms. Tran Thi To Trinh - Deputy Chief of Administration Office of Foreign Affairs Deparment of Danang City also attended this meeting.

On the side of Keimyung University, there were Prof. Jung Ho Kee - Administrative Head of Center for International Education & Development, Prof. Kang Kyung Moon – Head of International Affairs Office and Ms. Jimin Cha – Officer of International Affairs Office and

This is the first visit of UD at Keimyung University. At the meeting, on behalf of the delegation, Dr. Dang Huu Man briefly introduced the history of the formation and development of UD and emphasized the advantages of University of Economics. Thereby, TS. Dang Huu Man also shared and expressed his desire to deepen cooperation with Keimyung University, especially the student exchange program.

Also in the meeting, Prof. Kang Kyung Moon shared the contents and areas where the two sides can cooperate, such as cultural exchanges, exchange of lecturers, students. He also expressed his commitment to create favorable conditions for UD’s lecturers to improve their professional skills.

Keimyung University (KMU) is a private university in South Korea. The university was founded in 1899 by the leaders of the Northern Presbyterian Church of the U.S. as a Christian university. Its motto is 'For the Kingdom of Truth, Justice and Love'. KMU is composed of three campuses in the city of Daegu, South Korea. They are named for their locations within the city; Daemyeong, which is near the downtown area, Seongseo, which is in the western part of the city, and also Dongsan campus which includes Dongsan Medical Center.
