PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENTS BETWEEN THE DUE and CIT TOOK PLACE IN WITNESS OF THE PRESIDENT OF IRELAND

Human, culture of Vietnam has many similarities with Ireland - It is not only impressed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade - Mr. Charles Flanagan but also the general perception of many foreign friends when come to Vietnam!

Perhaps that is the reason of the journey (from 5/11 to 14/11/2016) of President of Ireland – Mr. Michael D.Higgins and his wife focused on cooperating in various fields about commerce, investment, agriculture, health and especially the unanimous education – training is the key point next time.

Within the framework of strategic cooperation, 11/11/2016 in Ho Chi Minh City DUE honored to sign cooperation agreements on 2 + 2 transfer programs with the Cork Institute of Technology (CIT) for Marketing students. Accordingly, the Marketing students will have the opportunity to receive  Bachelor of Business in Marketing from CIT with 2 years of study at DUE and the next 2 years at CIT (equivalent to 240 ECTS system divided for 2 stages) with preferential tuition and other scholarships. Tourism, Business Administration, Accounting, Corporate Finance is expected to be the next choice to sign the cooperation agreement.

This is the process in the long-term plans of DUE and CIT after VIBE (Bilateral cooperation in education between Vietnam and Ireland) project was marked by the success of the Start-up contest - Danang Startup Runway for the first half year of 2016. DUE prouds to be the pioneer with interesting environment, coaching, meeting mentors,... when three DUE students were represntatives for the three best projects at Hinckr Start-up Center. So the agreement was signed on 13/06/2016 remarked the important education and training partnership between DUE and CIT.[P4] 

Dr. Nguyen Phuc Nguyen-Head of Science and International Cooperation shared: "I am very proud because the session today is testament to the continued efforts of DUE in the assertion research-oriented approach to economic knowledge in the world. I also hope that through this partnership, the relationship between Vietnam-Ireland will be more durable!
