Establish a foundation for cooperation relationship between Southeastern Louisiana University (USA) and University of Economics - The University of Danang

In the afternoon of December 24, Assoc.Prof.PhD. Minh Huynh - Representative of Marketing Management Department - Southeastern Louisiana University met Assoc.Prof Nguyen Phuc Nguyen - Head of Science & International Cooperation - University of Economics to discuss cooperation issues between the two schools.

Through the introduction of Assoc.Prof.PhD Minh Huynh, Southeastern Louisiana University is a public university located in the state capital of Louisiana with over 30,000 students. The school was founded in 1950 and ranked 63th in public universities in the United States. The main training fields of the University include: petroleum, chemicals, architecture, auditing, business administration, marketing ... Assoc.Prof.PhD Minh Huynh hopes that the meeting will place the first bricks for the cooperation of two prestigious public universities in the United States and Vietnam.

Representatives of the University of Economics expressed their joy at the interest of Southeastern Louisiana University and also believed in the prospect of cooperation between the two schools. Assoc.Prof.PhD Nguyen Phuc Nguyen proposed a cooperative program of training 2 + 2, 3 + 1 and postgraduate training. At the same time, the University of Economics and Business also proposed to invite partners of professors to Vietnam to organize workshops, seminars and exchange teaching experience, scientific research and co-organizing international conferences. Besides, DUE's summer semester program will also be an opportunity to exchange and connect students of 2 schools and is an opportunity to experience the educational environment, living environment and explore the country of Vietnam of students from Southeastern Louisiana Park.

Assoc.Prof.PhD Minh Huynh basically agreed with DUE's cooperative proposals and expressed interest in the summer semester program. The two sides discussed in detail the cooperation programs and said that they would increase exchanges through email as well as at the next meetings. Representatives of the two schools will work actively and soon reach a cooperation agreement to affirm the long-term cooperation relationship between the two schools in the future.
