3 keynote speakers in ICOAF 2018

Professor Avanidhar (Subra) Subrahmanyam - Professor of Finance at the University of California-Los Angeles (UCLA, USA) - is an expert on the stock market and behavioral finance. He is known for his breakthrough research in the use of psychological principles to explain movements of stock prices and has published a series of articles in leading economic and financial magazines. He is frequently invited to share his expertise on media about remarkable results of value stocks and the momentum of the stock market to analyze fluctuations in oil prices, about the "herd" psychology around Apple stock...

His current concern is the fluctuating relationship between the trading environment of a company and its cost of capital with behavioral theories.

With more than 40 top (Q1) articles in financial, 05 textbooks and reference books, his researches are considered to be crucial for financial students of all levels.

Subrahmanyam is a founding co-editor and advisory editor for The Journal of Financial Markets. He was previously an associate editor of The Review of Financial Studies and the Journal of Finance. Subrahmanyam has served as part of the Working Research Group on Market Microstructure at the National Bureau of Economic Research and on the organizing committee for the NBER annual conferences on market microstructure.

His efforts have been recognized with the "best paper awards" at the Western Financial Society and the International Finance Conference in Taiwan. He was also awarded the Smith Breeden Prize for the Journal of Finance (1999). His research on market liquidity is the basis for a series of studies analyzing the reasons why transaction fees fluctuate over time and give him the Fama-DFA Award for excellent research in the Journal of Financial Economics (2000).

He is also a consultant for the Nasdaq Stock Market, National Trading Platform in Mumbai, India, San Jose Mercury and Irwin / McGraw-Hill. He is one of 100 inspirational figures from the University of California-Los Angeles (UCLA, USA).

Prof. Mingyi HUNG

Professor Mingyi Hung - Professor of Accounting at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. She holds a Ph.D. from the MIT Institute, and is the editor-in-chief of the Accounting Review. In addition, Professor Mingyi is also an editorial board member of several world's leading business science journals, such as the Journal of International Business Studies and the Journal of International Accounting Research.

Professor Mingyi has published more than 30 articles on top-tier journals, including Journal of Accounting and Economics, Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Accounting Studies, Journal of Accounting Research , Accounting Review, and Journal of Corporate Finance.

Professor Mingyi's research has received many Best Paper Awards, such as the Journal of Accounting & Economics Best Paper prize; the USC Marshall MBA Golden Apple Teaching Award; and the Gamma Sigma Alpha Professor of the Year.

  Professor Nuttawat Visaltanachoti - Professor of Finance - Director of Finance Programs at Massey University (New Zealand).

Professor Nuttawat received CFA Certificate and is a member of the CFA Association of New Zealand. His research has been discussed and presented on many world's leading financial publications such as the MarketWatch, the New York Times, CNN Money.Com, the National Business Review, the NZ Herald, the North Shore Times, and more than 30 international investment blogs.

Nuttawat's academic papers have been published in many top-tier Journals, including Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Financial Markets, Journal of Banking and Finance, and 15 other ISI journals.
