Start-up experts motivate Startup Runway teams in Hue, Quy nhon and Kontum

As planned, the Startup Runway - a prestigious startup competition hosted by the University of Economics - University of Danang and sponsored by the Irish government continues to spread and expand its scale to the big central cities including Hue, Quy Nhon and Kon Tum.

Since its first launch, the contest received the response of numerous students who sent many unique ideas. Throughout the rounds, the most potential candidates were present at the training round with the participant of leading startup experts coming from the Cork Institute of Technology (CIT): Mr. George Bullman, CEO of Rubicon Center and Ms. Helen Mc’ Gugirk, The Startup Center Director.

The workshops took place in turn at the University of Economics - Hue University, Quy Nhon University and the University of Da Nang at KonTum. At the workshops, the teams were able to listen to the experts who shared their experience about useful topics such as: Designing content about thinking orientation for business ideas; Analyzing and evaluating the environment, identifying opportunities; Basic marketing; Identifying customers. These are all important factors in perfecting ideas and implementing business plans. Due to the short meeting with the experts after the workshops, the teams were confident and more inspired to be ready to explode in the next rounds. Shortly after the semi-finals taking place in the cities that hosted the competition, the 15 strongest teams will gather in Da Nang to continue to learn and cultivate knowledge with the experts. It is this period that the teams accelerate to win the training ticket in Ireland -the startup country.
