A meet-up of the University of Economics on the occasion of Mau Tuat lunar new year 2018: New year, new targets.

In the joyful atmosphere of the very first days of the new year, Year of the Dog 2018, the University of Economics – University of Danang held a meeting with the participation of the University Board, representatives of Departments, Faculties, and Centers in the morning of 21st February.
The university has two more meritorious teachers, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Ha Tan and Prof. Dr. Nguyen Truong Son. Besides the pride, appreciation and wishes to the teachers, the Rector of the university hopes that the elite teachers will continue to devote their whole hearts and contribute to “the deed of planting people” at DUE.
The Faculty of E-commerce was established with the orientation and expectations in training human resources for the industrial revolution 4.0. The Faculty of Commerce was renamed as the Faculty of International Business with new missions, strengthening international links in training. During the past year, the university has also recruited a PhD student working as a researcher, which is a precursor to the promotion of scientific research at the university.
In the new year, the University of Economics will continue to improve the quality of training, upgrade existing facilities, especially completing the specialized training projects with the direct cooperation of enterprises. The tight link between the university and businesses will certainly bring about new experiences to the students, providing a practical educational environment to meet the society’s needs. In addition, the promotion of international publication, the opening of international training programs and the promotion of transfer / exchange programs for lecturers and students are the top priorities of the University in 2018. Especially, the principal of the university also emphasized that the completion of the process to accreditation of AUN-based training quality in 2019 is a key task.
Raising the glass to celebrate the New Year, all employees of the University of Economics were determined to strive for work, promote passion, creativity and unity to develop the University of Economics.
