DUE-DNIIT discussion about building post-graduate E-tourism programme

In the afternoon of 7th February, 2018, Professor Le Thanh Nhan (Nice Sophia Antipolis University) – representative of DNIIT International Technology Institute had a meeting and discussed the E-Tourism Post-graduate programme in Tourism with the University of Economics, the University of Da Nang, Dr. Truong Sy Quy, Head of Tourism Department together with member lecturers took part in the meeting.

In this meeting, the two parties discussed the plans to develop the cooperative training programme for post-graduate programme in Tourism between the two universities. Professor Le Thanh Nhan informed the progress of the project conduction and detailed contents of the training program. The two sides also tried to figure out solutions to legislation-related work and curriculum to put the project into use at convenience in Vietnam. Professor Le Thanh Nhan hoped that Vietnamese students would have further chances to study in France, especially at the prestigious Nice Sophia Antipolis Institute. The representatives from DUE gladly welcomed high cooperative spirits from its partner and assured to co-support and complete the official curriculum together with DNIIT Institute.


Professor Le Thanh Nhan also offered exchanging lecturers and students of DNIIT Institute to DUE and vice versa in 2018. Hence, the two universities will try to provide suitable scholarships regarding living expense, accommodations for lecturers and students. This will be finalized at convenient time. At the moment, DUE has several lecturers and students studying and doing research at Nice Institute, which is a basic background for more opportunities to experience French educational environment. Representatives from the two universities will have more meetings to finish the education project in Tourism and reinforce further cooperation.

  • In 2017 and early 2018, DNIIT institute has accepted 3 undergraduate students, 1 graduate for Master Program and 2 Doctoral Students in terms of short-term exchange program. In the near future, Nice Institute will continue to accept 4 more undergraduates from DUE under the program of Eramus+ scholarships.
  • Nice Sophia Antipolis institute states that they have IAE Nice Graduate School of Management, which was also recognised as a member of AACSB of America in 2016. AACSB, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, also known as AACSB International, is an American professional organization. There are numerous entrepreneurs, non-governmental organizations and Federal cooperation in this organization.
