Video: Jubilant Celebration of 2017 job fair

In the morning of 30^th June, the third job fair was officially opened at the University of Economics - University of Da Nang. The opening ceremony warmly welcomed   Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thanh Hung - Director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of the city, leaders of the departments - representatives of enterprises and thousands of students and workers. On behalf of the University of Economics was Assoc. Nguyen Manh Toan, the Rector, and representatives of the management board and leaders of the departments and centers attached to the university.

At the opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Van An - Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs said that Job Fair was really a bridge between enterprises and workers. This year festival was the third time the Department has coordinated with the University of Economics with the participation of 165 enterprises. Mr. Nguyen Van An believed that through this festival, many students and workers would find jobs suitable to their qualifications, abilities and skills. At the same time, businesses also find the source of labor according to their needs. This contributes to the economic growth and labor market share of the city.

Also at the opening ceremony, Assoc. Dao Huu Hoa, Vice Rector of the University of Economics, expressed the pleasure of the school when it was the third time to host the Job Fair. This represents the great effort of the University, and this is the opportunity to create a connection between the school - the learner - and the employer, thereby contributing to the implementation of the policy of linking training with social needs. Through the interview process and recruitment, the university can also grasp the needs of enterprises to conduct research and adjust the appropriate training programs. Students of the University of Economics in recent years have been appreciated by agencies and enterprises for their knowledge, skills and attitudes. Assoc. Dao Huu Hoa hoped that the Job Fair will also be an opportunity for students to find suitable jobs, besides affirming the brand name and prestige of the University of Economics in training human resources for agencies - enterprise.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the jubilant atmosphere of the Job Fair had spread throughout the recruitment of enterprises. The job fair was expected to take place in the morning and afternoon of June 30 with more than 4700 vacancies, especially those with large recruitment needs at the University-College level. The recruitment sector spreads across a wide range of areas: from economic management, finance and accounting, executive management, administration, engineers, technicians, to salespeople, restaurants  and so on.
