Student Workshop Series in Startup Runway 2016 on 19th and 20th March
The workshop series in “Startup Runway 2016” has started on 19th March with the delivery of Mr. Geoge Bulman and Mr. Wesley Connonlly Tong from Rubicon, the most successful incubator housed in Cork Institute of Technology- Ireland.
In the first day of the workshop, the students were taught about teamwork, design thinking as well as techniques for ideas generation and. The workshop became extremely exciting when the teams experienced the Marshmallow game which required teams to build up a tower by spaghettis and marshmallows. The winner of the game was the team PPC whose members are to-be pharmarciens. Their business idea was to make a natural product for stomach problems. They said that they participated the competition to turn their idea into real business and hopefully find investors for this project. As Mr Bulman said to the students "Keep going, no matter what. Who knows? Maybe you could become the next Facebook or Google."
