More than 6000 career opportunities for students at the 6th job fair in 2022

The University of Economics - the University of Danang cooperated with the Da Nang Department of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs to organize the 6th Job Fair for students in 2022 with more than 6000 job opportunities from 65 businesses on July 29. This opportunity is not only for students of the University of Economics, the University of Danang but also for all students and workers in the city.

Attending the Day was Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nam - Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Da Nang. On the side of the University of Danang, there was Assoc.Prof.Dr. Duong Minh Quan - Deputy Head of Student Affairs Department - University of Danang. On the side of the University of Economics, UDN, there were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Dinh Khoi Nguyen - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the School Council, Assoc. Le Van Huy - Vice President of the University and leaders of faculties, departments, and centers under the University together with leaders of more than 60 businesses participating in the Job Fair and thousands of students and employees.

The 6th Job Fair for Students in 2022 attracted more than 1000 students and workers in the city to attend. This is an opportunity for students to better understand the labor market through contacting and discussing in depth the needs of employers, thereby orienting themselves to their future career paths.

Cultural program to celebrate Job Fair

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Nguyen Thanh Nam, Deputy Director of the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs of Da Nang city said: “Every year, Da Nang city organizes 50 fixed job sessions and mobile job sessions. The number of workers connected and created jobs at the following job sessions is higher than in the previous session, proving that the form and quality of job transactions are increasingly improved. The 6th Student Job Fair in 2022 contributes to realizing the program's goal of "having a job" in the city's Program “Three Have”.

Job fair for students is a key activity, and a strategic policy of the University of Economics - the University of Danang in promoting cooperation between the University and the State management agencies and business under the motto of companionship and development. Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Van Huy - Vice Rector of the University said: The 6th Job Fair for Students is a bridge to help students and workers have the opportunity to interact, show their abilities and find jobs in the right field of training in reputable enterprises. The Vice Rector hoped that this would be an opportunity for the University of Economics to review, research, and enhance the applicability of training programs in order to timely and best grasp the actual needs of learners and recruitment criteria of the labor market.

 Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Van Huy hopes that Job Fair will bring many career opportunities for students.

Wanting to consult about jobs to prepare for the future, Ychi Ngan - a student of class 45K13.2 from the Law major, University of Economics said: “This is a really meaningful day for us. There are a lot of big businesses, I'm looking at job vacancies and hoping to find a suitable job for me."

Thousands of students and workers participated in Job Fair

Student Nguyen Thi Thanh Ngan, class 45K02.2, Business Administration major, University of Economics, the University of Danang shared: Joining the Job Fair, I as well as the students had the opportunity to exchange, interview, and apply directly at the booths of businesses. From there, we better understand the recruitment needs of enterprises as well as the skills and professional requirements that employers aim for, grasp, and make the right choice of career for me right after graduating from university. I hope I will find a position as a sales specialist or a marketing specialist at this occasion.”

Students refer to career fields

As a result, 517 students passed the pre-qualification interview on this occasion, including 428 students from the University of Economics, the University of Danang. The 6th Student Job Fair in 2022 is a place to meet directly, exchange, interview, and negotiate between employers and employees; places to register, and provide information about job seekers, labor export, advice on labor policies, employment, and vocational training. At the same time, it is an opportunity for businesses to contact and promote their images to students of the university so that businesses can choose the best personnel for their units.
