The evening of June 17, 2022 witnessed exciting and explosive moments of competition of young people at the competition Startup Runway 2022. The 05 best ideas of the competition have completely conquered the judges for their originality, boldness, and especially high spirit of dare to think, dare to do of the youth. Attending the final night were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Quang Son - Vice President of the University of Danang, leaders of the Committees and Youth Unions of the University of Danang; On behalf of the organization unit of the University of Economics, there were the presence of Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Dinh Khoi Nguyen - Secretary of the Party Committee - Chairman of the University Council, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Vo Thi Thuy Anh - Vice-Rector and a large number of students in the city.
This year's contest also created heat from the names of the judges: Mr. Cao Tri Dung - Chairman of Da Nang Tourism Association, Mr. Huynh Huy Hoa - Director of Danang Socio-Economic Development Research Institute, Mr. Le Hoang Anh - Founder & CEO of Multi Viet Nam Joint Stock Company, Mr. Nguyen Van Chuong - CEO of DNES, Mr. Trinh Quoc Viet - Chairman of ATA Service Company, Mr. Le Van Hieu - Chairman of the Board of Directors & General Director of SEATECH Company. The contest was organized by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the University of Economics - the University of Danang in collaboration with the Department of Science & International Cooperation and two clubs namely K2S and Economic Startup. Moreover, Startup Runway 2022 is exclusively sponsored by the Multi Viet Nam Joint Stock Company.

At the beginning of the contest, the atmosphere in the hall of the University of Danang was warmed up with a modern dance performance by the University of Economics' art team. The energetic image of DUE's youth has been conveyed through vibrant and powerful dance moves and attractive performances. The performance also added confidence and motivation for the teams to enter the official competition.

Breaking all limits
During the competition part, the teams had 2 minutes to introduce ideas via video, 15 minutes to summarize the most unique points about their startup project from many aspects, and 15 minutes to answer questions from the Judges. In the spirit of this year's contest theme "Beyond the Boundaries", the teams competing on the final night really brought an explosive feeling in breaking through the limits, overcoming barriers to unleash the creativity of business ideas.

Most of the ideas in the final round of this year focus on solutions and practical application models associated with smart devices to catch up with the trend of the 4.0 technology era. Those ideas can be mentioned as "Career-oriented support application" of The VirEXP team, "Online shopping and fitting application" of Cyberpunk, and "App to assist the visually impaired" of EnerG team. In addition, the ideas also focus on community values associated with sustainable development such as the topic "E-commerce trading plarform for eco-friendly products" of the GREENZ or the topic "Vibrant history" of the Citrine team. All teams aim to meet the actual needs of consumers, clearly show their goals and aspirations to reach out, in addition to upholding human values.

After the presentation of the ideas, the judges also asked many questions to the competing teams. The members of this year's judge all expressed their impressions of the originality and creativity of business projects. From their own practical experience, the experts also give useful tips for young people to continue developing business projects in the future, and emphasize that success comes from the spirit of not giving up and the will to start a business. However, projects also need long-term preparation of finance/human resources and perfect marketing strategies to put them into practice and make a difference from the current common ground.

After more than 2 hours of competition, the Startup Runway final round honored the most deserving names with valuable prizes. The idea of the Cyberpunk team has excellently won the Startup Runway 2022 Champion with a reward of 20 million VND. 2 teams GREENZ and EnerG also won the second and third prizes, respectively, with prize money of 15 million and 10 million VND. Moreover, 02 Consolation prizes were awarded to Citrine team and The VirEXP team with a reward of 2 million VND in cash each. Besides, the Favorite Video Award worth 1 million VND also named Salt team, and the Potential Project Award worth 3 million VND honored the Cyberpunk champion team.
