The DUE team completed the football tournament VKU 2022 with a sweet 3-1 victory over the University of Science and Technology and raised the championship Cup of the tournament. The journey of the VKU Cup champion is the sweet achievement of the efforts, solidarity, and determination of all members of the DUE Men's Football Team.

Sweet achievement of the cadres and civil servants football team of the University of Economics

VKU Cup 2022, the men's football tournament between grassroots unions under the Trade Union of the University of Danang. The tournament creates a joyful and exciting atmosphere among the cadres and civil servants of the grassroots trade unions, making an important contribution to encouraging union members to maintain and arouse the spirit of sports and exercise.

The tournament took place from May 27 to May 29, 2022, at the football field of Vietnam - Korea University of Information and Communication Technology with the participation of 8 teams from the grassroots unions of member universities of the University of Danang divided into two groups: Group A consists of 4 teams, and Group B includes 4 teams. Each group plays a round robin to choose the first and second teams to enter the next round.

Specific achievements of the DUE men’s football team at the tournament:

Group stage:

- The University of Economics - Vietnam - Korea University of Information and Communication Technology: 2 – 0

- The University of Economics - The University of Technology and Education: 1 - 1

- The University of Economics - The University of Foreign Languages: 5 – 0

Semi-final round:

-       The University of Economics - The University of Danang, Campus in Kon Tum: 3 – 2

Finals:

-       The University of Economics - The University of Science and Technology: 3 – 1

In addition to the championship, the DUE men’s team also "won" the tournament's top scorer award with a record of 6 goals by player Ho Sy Hao. Congratulating the University of Economics on the outstanding achievements of the University of Economics at the Exchange Awards VKU 2022, following the Gold Medal at the University Competition in Da Nang City in the 2020-2021 school year, the team DUE is increasingly asserting its strength in force as well as a competitive spirit.
