On the morning of May 17, the Department of Science and Technology of Da Nang city solemnly held a ceremony to reward organizations and individuals with excellent achievements in scientific & technological activities in 2021. Attending were Dr. Le Duc Vien – Director of Da Nang Department of Science and Technology, Dr. Vu Thi Bich Hau - Deputy Director of Da Nang Department of Science and Technology, Mr. Thai Ba Canh - Vice President of Union of Science and Technology Associations, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Thanh Bac - Vice President of the University of Danang, leaders of universities in the city, and outstanding scientists were honored at the Commendation Ceremony.

Speaking at the Commendation Ceremony, Dr. Le Duc Vien affirmed: "The consideration and commendation in scientific and technological activities are carried out annually according to the provisions of Resolution No. 248/2019/NQ-HDND dated July 11, 2019 of the People's Council on regulations on reward in science and technology activities in Da Nang city. This activity increasingly attracts the attention, companion and support of the community of scientific and technological organizations, enterprises and scientists, the researchers; encourages scientific research and technology development activities, and at the same time honors organizations and individuals that have actively contributed to the city's science & technology activities, contributing to enhancing the role of science and technology in the development of Da Nang city.”

According to Decision No. 995/QD-UBND dated April 12, 2022, of the People's Committee of Da Nang city on rewarding the individuals with outstanding achievements in scientific and technological activities in 2021, the University of Economics had 04 authors receiving this honor with 06 articles on the list of prestigious scientific journals.
