Student Affairs Conference for the school year 2020 - 2021: "Students of the University of Economics: Efforts - Responsibilities - Great Ambition

"Students of The University of Economics: Efforts - Responsibilities - Great Ambition" is the topic of discussion between the university leaders and student representatives at the Student Affairs Conference of the academic year 2020-2021, which was just held on the morning of 16 January. This is a seminar for students to share their views and ideas to overcome problems in learning, research, and activities as well as propose directions to join hands with the University to build a modern, friendly and dynamic environment at the University of Economics - Danang University.


Welcome performances to the conference

 Attending the conference were Associate Professor. Le Van Huy - Vice-Rector of the University and leaders of Departments, Faculties and Centers under the School and Trade Union, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the University's Student Union, and student representatives from faculties.

 Before entering the content of the seminar, the conference listened to the summary report on Student work and student activities in the academic year 2019 - 2020 through the Summary Video. Accordingly, the student work in the past school year has many positive changes. The training and student management are honored to improve the quality; The number of students is stable and there are no students who violate the law; Timely support students who are in difficult circumstances, or affected by epidemics and regularly award scholarships to encourage learning from sponsors to students of the University; Strengthen relationships with businesses to support students in finding jobs, internships, and sponsorship scholarships; Organize many useful activities for students such as welcoming new students, week of civic-student activities, training class staff ...; Regularly interested in the development of Party members among students, scientific research as well as organizing training for Lao students ...

MSc. Tran Quoc Hung reports on student work orientation for the 2020-2021 school year

 The conference also listened to the student work directions in the academic year 2020 - 2021. In which, MSc. Tran Quoc Hung - Head of Student Affairs Department emphasized the work of enhancing political, ideological, and cultural education for students through many practical activities; in addition to regular training ethics, lifestyles, behaviors, and life skills for students and timely assisting students in studying, research, living and finding jobs.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Van Huy praised the results that the University's students have achieved in the academic year 2019 - 2020

 In order to encourage the students' spirit of practice and dedication, the University commended and rewarded 21 class staff who successfully completed the tasks of the 2019-2020 school year and 19 students who made a positive contribution to the school activities of the school year 2019 - 2020. Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Van Huy congratulates the excellent students and hopes that you will continue to uphold the sense of responsibility, contribute to the development and growth of the University of Economics in the coming time.

Rewarding students for their positive contributions to school activities in the school year 2019 - 2020

 In the main part of the Conference, the Seminar " STUDENTS OF The University of ECONOMICS: Efforts - Responsibilities - Great Ambitions" was chaired by representatives of the University: Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Van Huy - Vice-Rector of the University, MSc. Tran Quoc Hung - Student Affairs Manager, MA. Tran Thi Thanh Thao - Student Union President responded to students' comments. These are the questions and concerns of students gathered from the Student Affairs Conference of the Faculties. These recommendations focus on issues of improving teaching quality, improving facilities, and facilitating better learning and living for students. In addition, students also raise issues about online learning, extracurricular output standards, foreign languages, internships, and post-graduate job opportunities.

 Also at the conference, many students raised direct questions to the Board of Directors, and proposed solutions and directions for the University to improve student efficiency.

The conference received many contributions and recommendations from students as well as acknowledgment and feedback from leaders of units

 The representative of the Board of Directors: Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Van Huy listened and noted the specific answers to each issue, from there came to agree on specific directions for students to understand as well as transfer to leaders of the Department, Faculty, and Center for the related questions.

 With the spirit of open exchange, the Student Affairs Conference of the academic year 2020-2021 took place successfully with the aim of joining hands to build a progressive learning environment. Thereby, the Conference has recognized many good, unique, and practical ideas, contributing to raising students' awareness and promoting student movements at the University. The conference was closed at 11:30 am
