Exciting sports activities celebrates the anniversary of founding the university of danang - University of Economics

Joining the joyous celebration of the 45th anniversary of the University of Economics (1975 - 2020) and National Teachers' Day on November 20, the departmental Trade Unions of the University organized a sports tournament that attracted many participants: the University’s employees and the workers from neighborhood businesses last week.

The first celebration was the 2020 Open Billiard Championship hosted by the Faculty of Business Administration Union with over 50 employees. The event occurred on November 15, creating enthusiasm and healthy competition among departmental trade unions. The tournament rules without age restriction encouraged trade union members from different departmental trade unions to participate in friendly matches. The tournament matches were quite intense due to the bitter rivalries between the "players"; however, they created excitement between the players and the audience.

On the afternoon of November 17, the Trade Union of the Facilities Management Department and Inspection and Legal Affairs Department coordinated with the Trade Union of the Student Affairs Department to host the friendly soccer tournament to tighten the solidarity and cooperation between employers of the University. Five soccer teams, two of them from neighborhood enterprises, took part in the game. Five teams were divided into two groups and played against each other in a round-robin tournament to determine the winner for each group that qualified for the final. The players performed beautiful ball moves in the spirit of fair play, creating the tremendous success of the Tournament. The tournament result is that Binh Chuan company team won the First Prize and Huong Thao team won the Second Prize. The Third Prizes were awarded to two departmental Trade Unions: the Organization & Administration Department, the IT & Communication Center. The friendly soccer tournament is an opportunity for employees of the University and local businesses to come together, share their experience, expertise, and relieve stress after work. It also helps to strengthen the relationship between the University and enterprises.
