The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union University of Economics - the University of Danang obtained outstanding achievement in Da Nang City's Patriotic Emulation

On the morning of September 28, 2020, at Trung Vuong Theater, the City People's Committee held the 5th Da Nang City Congress to summarize the patriotic emulation movement and commendation work period 2015 - 2020; Set out directions and tasks for the period 2020 - 2025.

Attending the congress were Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the State, First Vice Chairman of the Central Committee for Emulation and Commendation Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh; Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the City's National Assembly delegation Truong Quang Nghia; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang; City Party Committee Deputy Secretary, City People's Committee Chairman Huynh Duc Tho.

With the theme "Solidarity, creativity, construction, development of Da Nang into a rich and beautiful, peaceful, civilized and modern city", this patriotic emulation congress is an opportunity to summarize and evaluate the patriotic emulation movement; praise, reward and honor outstanding examples in the city's patriotic emulation movement in the period 2015 - 2020. At the same time, The Congress also set out directions and tasks to continue to innovate and improve the quality of emulation and commendation work, create a new emulation atmosphere, contributing to the successful implementation of socio-economic development tasks, ensuring national defense and security in the city in the period 2020 - 2025.

At the congress, 29 outstanding collectives were awarded Emulation Flag of the City People's Committee; 27 collectives, 141 typical and advanced individuals typical in the patriotic emulation movement in units and localities and typical movements, emulation fields in the period 2015 - 2020 were awarded certificates of merit.

Overcoming the difficulties of the epidemic in recent years, the Youth Union of the University of Economics - Da Nang University has excellently led in the "Voluntary Youth" movements of the universities, organized many practical volunteer programs such as "Summer Volunteer Campaign - Volunteer Summer Campaign", " Winter-Spring Volunteer Campaign".
