Beginner course "data analysis and visualization in 2020"

On June 20 and 21, 2020, the University of Economics organized the beginner course "Data analysis and visualization in 2020" with the presentation of MSc. Nguyen Van Chuc - Deputy Head of E-Commerce Department. Attending the course, there were about 40 lecturers, students of University of Economics and officials, staff of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Da Nang Branch (VCCI Da Nang).

In 4 sessions, MSc. Nguyen Van Chuc presented a comprehensive picture of data application in enterprises, introduced Tableau and Data Visualization with graphs and instructions to use. Participants also analyzed business data, analyzed sales of each product by region / locality quickly, accurately, clearly and convincingly through practical tools.

The issues of data analysis, data organization, data filtering and customer insights identification, especially in the era of industrial revolution 4.0, were discussed and answered at the course. In addition, the course introduces practical data analysis projects, and shares experience and career orientation in data science for students.

Since 2020, the University of Economics - University of Danang has opened a new field "Data Science and Business Analysis", this is the subject of the wave of technological revolution 4.0, as an indispensable part of the modern business. With the mission of training the human resources to meet the social needs for the future, the Department of Data Science and Business Analytics will equip the knowledge related to economics, business and techniques and big data processing combined with artificial intelligence (AI) will be collected
