Quality Assurance Council (QA) Southeast Asia University Network (AUN) has just sent 05 training programs (training programs) of UD which are recognized to meet the quality standards of Southeast Asia (ASEAN University Network) Quality Assurance, abbreviated as AUN-QA) includes: Auditing, International Business, Marketing (University of Economics - UD), Physical Education (University of Pedagogy) and English Language (University of Foreign Languages- University of Danang).
Leaders of Danang University and 162nd external evaluation team of AUN
The highlight is that 04 training programs (of the University of Economics and Foreign Languages - UD) have been externally evaluated 162 times (October 2019), all of which have achieved AUN-QA standards with high quality (level 5/7). These are training programs that have been accredited by an evaluation team. Wyona C. Patalinghug - Vice Chairman of the Council of Quality Assurance AUN-QA as the leader of the delegation with members of the prestigious international education quality accreditation expert, leading experience in many fields and majors from many countries (Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Singapore).
Up to now, Danang University has 20 accredited training programs of international standard (European CTI and AUN-QA of Southeast Asia), ranked third in the country in terms of number of international accredited training programs (Universities). Polytechnic-UD has 12 training programs; University of Economics has 05 training programs; University of Foreign Language Studies -UD has 02 training programs and University of Education has 01 training program).
The Department of Education Quality Management - the Ministry of Education and Training has also announced a list of educational institutions recognized to meet national and international education standards (updated until February 29, 2020). Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology-UD is honored to be one of seven Vietnamese higher education institutions recognized to meet international education quality standards (HCERES, Europe); 04 member universities of UD (University of Science and Technology, University of Education, University of Economics, University of Foreign Language Studies) were recognized to meet the national educational quality standards.
Evaluating the training programs according to AUN-QA standards enables students to transfer study credits between the training programs of AUN member universities; create favorable conditions for student and lecturer exchange between universities. Businesses and employers in the region and the world have sufficient reliable basis to find high quality human resources trained from training programs with quality references of internationalization.
