The Closing of 162nd AUN-QA quality assessment activities

In the morning of October 10, 2019, the University of Economics and the University of Foreign Languages ​​- University of Danang held a closing session for the QUALITY ASSESSMENT according to the 162rd AUN-QA standard for 4 training programs: Auditing, International Business and Marketing from University of Economics and University of Foreign Language Studies.


At the Closing session, the inspectors made preliminary reports about strengths, potentials and areas needing more improvements according to the AUN-QA standards set of the 4 training programs participating in the evaluation. After 3 working days, AUN-QA Council evaluated 4 training programs according to the following criteria: Expected academic results; program description; program structure and content; teaching and learning methods; student quality; student assessment; lecturer quality; quality of support staff, quality of students and supportive activities; facilities and infrastructure; improve the quality of education; standard output.

Dr Wyona C. Patalinghug - AUN-QA Council Vice President recommends that the leaders of the schools, departments and branches of the two universities should enhance the exchange with other training institutions around the world, especially in Southeast Asia to have more practical services for changing and developing disciplines while increasing the opportunity for student and faculty exchange between universities in the region. On behalf of the evaluation team AUN, Dr. Wyona C. Patalinghug thanked the leaders of the two universities, four faculties and staff, lecturers, students, alumni, and employers for cooperating with the delegation for the inspection activities to be carried out effectively.

Also at the closing session, Assoc.Prof.Dr Tran Huu Phuc - Rector of the University of Foreign Languages ​​expressed his sincere thanks to the experts of AUN Evaluation Team, all members who participated and cooperated in this evaluation; At the same time, emphasizing through this activity, the accredited units identify the strengths and limitations to improve the quality of training. In addition, the two leaders also thanked the lecturers, staff, students, alumni, businesses, press and media agencies for their interest, support and monitoring of inspection activities during this time. Leaders of the two universities hope to have more training programs can meet AUN-QA standards.

In 3 working days, there were 24 faculty leaders and SAR writing leaders; 80 alumni, 63 recruiters, 80 lecturers, 69 support staff and 80 students from 4 Faculties were interviewed in this evaluation. The total number of attendees was up to 372 with 37 members of the organizers and 4 independent translators.
