Recognizing achievements in the school year 2018 -2019, The Trade Union of the University of Economics received emulation flag from The National Education Union of Vietnam

In order to summarize the effectiveness of trade union activities in the academic year 2018 - 2019, on the afternoon of September 16, the Trade Union of the University of Economics and University of Danang held a Conference to summarize the union's work last school year and deploying the tasks of the school year 2019 - 2020. The conference had the presence of PhD. Nguyen Duc Hung - Chairman of Trade Union of the University of Danang; From the University of Economics, there were representatives of the Board of Directors: Assoc.Prof.Dr. Dao Huu Hoa - Vice Rector, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Dinh Khoi Nguyen - Vice Rector, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Vo Thi Thuy Anh - Vice Rector, on the side of the Union of the University, there were PhDs. Nguyen Thi Bich Thu - Trade Union Chairwoman and Trade Union of the University of Economics.

Conference watched video clips summarizing trade union activities for the school year 2018 - 2019

At the beginning of the conference, delegates reviewed the images of typical union activities in the 2018-2019 school year through the summarized video clip. Accordingly, during the last school year, the Union of the University of Economics has gradually innovated in the way it operates; organized many active activities, received the support of a large number of trade unionists in the University, created a close solidarity relationship between the trade unions of the department. With the excellent achievements in the last school year, the Union of University of Economics was honored to receive the Emulation Flag awarded by the The National Education Union of VietNam. 

Representative of Executive Committee of Trade Union, Dr. Nguyen Thi Bich Thu reported the key tasks in the school year 2019 - 2020. The School Trade Union recommends that all union members continue to perform well the contents of the Resolution of the 9th National Union Congress as well as participate in the development of new regulations to suit the structure of the school. In the coming school year, the Trade Union of the University also focuses on researching, elaborating policies and plans on organizing the union's activities and encouraging members to register and improving the efficiency in operating activities for union members.

Attending and speaking at the conference, PhD. Nguyen Duc Hung highly appreciated the union work of the University of Economics in the past school year. In particular, the Union Trade has actively applied many new methods in organizing activities and movements, contributing to improving the spirit, physicality and solidarity of trade unionists. Besides, the Trade Union also contributes its voice in taking care of the lives of officials and employees, reflected by the average income of the previous year being higher than the previous year. The Trade Union of Da Nang University proposed that the Union of the University of Economics continue to promote its achievements, direct the good implementation of key tasks in the 2019-2020 school year.

Representative of the School Board - Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Huu Hoa said that the school union plays a very important role in the success of the school year 2019 - 2020. In the coming school year with many important tasks, the school hopes that all union members will unite, overcome challenges, complete and exceed the targets set out in many fields, bringing the University of Economics – The University of Da Nang to a regional and international level.

Also at the conference, 28 individuals and 4 groups received certificates of merit from the Trade Union for their outstanding achievements in union activities in the school year 2018 - 2019. The Trade Union also awarded certificates of merit to 2 individuals who have achieved excellent results in the movement "A woman is good at office work and still managing home chores" in the school year.
