EXHANGE TRIP IN GERMANY

After the success of the exchange program in March 2016, in the beginning of September, the University of Economics - University of Danang continues to bring three excellent students to Germany to tudy, that is Nguyen Quynh Phuong - a 4th- year student of the Foreign Trade major, Le Thi To Nhu - a 4th-year student in Banking and Mai Nguyen Cong Thuan, a sophomore in Foreign Trade.
The first day when they left Vietnam, they couldn't help but worry about their trip. Although the accommodation has been arranged by the university, each of them always wonders how to travel, how to move, how to eat and sleep ... To Germany is midnight, three Vietnamese students could not help being surprised at their situation. But fortunately, when you were sitting on a plane from Paris to Germany, they were able to get acquainted with a native passenger sitting next to them, so when they landed at the airport, they asked him to buy a train ticket, show them directions to Westphalian University.
When they arrived at the school dormitory, it was already past midnight, the three young people met language barrier when the guard spoke a German language, and they only spoke English. According to Quynh Phuong, after a period of immitating body language with the help of the taxi driver, the security guard finally accepted the room, and after a long trip, they could sleep at The room will stick in their near future.

 

At first, they have to be pity to eat instant noodles, instant noodles ... brought from Vietnam because they do not know the way and where to go. "At that time, we felt homesick and missed Vietnamese food!" Quynh Phuong said sadly. After getting used to the rhythm of life and asking other students, the three knew where the supermarket was. Since then the three of them have been buying food together, although the ingredients are not exactly the same as in Vietnam but still give you the warm feeling of the home country.
"The people here are very friendly and willing to help others" that was the first impression of the three when they arrived in Germany. When you meet someone on the street, you also receive a greeting and a bright smile. Only that is enough to help you feel warm in the middle of other country.
their transportation here is buses and trams, mostly close by. “At first, it was quite awkward, but now everyone is an expert, from the car pickup, the time, the destination, the number of the vehicles…” Thuan Mai excitedly recounted.
Before entering the university, the international students had a field trip together. Quynh Phuong, To Nhu and Thuan Mai had met and acquainted with students from other countries such as Indonesia, India, Spain ... everyone is happy and sociable. It can be said that this international exchange trip had brought them many new experiences. In the first 1 month, they had the opportunity to get familiar with the living environment as well as learn about the university, accommodation, ... and also had lots of interesting trips with new friends.
