SHORT-TERM SCHOLARSHIP FOR THE EXCHANGE PROGRAM AT HERIOT-WATT UNIVERSITY (THE UNITED KINGDOM) - TERM 3

The University of Economics would like to announce the Student Exchange Scholarship within the framework of the Erasmus + International Academic Exchange Project of the European Union (Erasmus + International Credit Mobility) between the University of Economics - University of Danang and Heriot-Watt University (United Kingdom). Detailed information is as follows:
1. Rights and obligations of scholarship recipients:
Rights:
· Study at Heriot-Watt School (Edinburgh Campus) in the second semester of the 2018-2019 school year.
· Stipend of EUR 850 / month and round-trip airfare (maximum 1100 EUR).
· The time and results of studying at Heriot-Watt School are recognized in the students' study program at the University of Economics.
Obligations:
· Complete at least 30 ECTs in the exchange semester. The list of subjects will be announced after the student is admitted.
· Pay the tuition in full to the University of Economics and the fees prescribed by the University for students participating in this exchange program.
· At the end of the exchange period, students must return to the country and report to the school through the Department of Planning and International Cooperation.
2. Scholarship Cover: According to the actual study time of students at Heriot-Watt University (from January to May 2019)
3. Criteria for selection:
· Be a student majoring in Accounting, Auditing, Corporate Finance, Financial Management, Banking, General Business Administration, Foreign Trade, Marketing.
· Be a student in 2nd year or 3rd year at the time of application submission.
· Having a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 / 4.0 and excellent training score.
· Has an IELTS 6.0 certificate (no skills below 5.5) or equivalent.
· Good health.
4. Required Documents:
· Curriculum Vitae in English;
· 02 Letters of Recommendation in English;
· Motivation Letter in English;·

· Academic transcripts and English translations;
· Training points of students with confirmation of the Student Affairs Department;
· Certified copy of valid international English certificate;
· A copy of proof of social performance or Union activities (if any).
5. Selection process:
· Round 1: The Selection Committee of the University of Economics conducts pre-qualification.
· Round 2: The selection committee of Heriot-Watt University will evaluate and make the final decision.
6. Receiving applications:
The application should be in a separate file bag with the size of 25 cm x 43 cm, with the information on the cover (Admission of exchange students with Heriot-Watt University, Full name , Date of Birth, Class, Phone, Email, List of available papers) and submit at the Planning & International Cooperation Department during office hours (please see Mr Tran Luong Kim Dung, email address: dung .tlk @ due.edu.vn, phone: 0236-395-8635).
