ECONOMICS DEPARTMENT STUDENT UNION CONGRESS 2016-2017

Firstly, we would like to express our gratitude and commend the Party members present at the Congress held on the evening of Monday, October 31, 2016. Despite unfavorable weather conditions and some organizational errors, we have successfully completed the program with a serious and diligent work ethic.

After listening to the summary report, orientation report, and receiving guidance from the Department leaders and higher-level Party organizations, we proceeded with the necessary evaluation procedures in accordance with regulations. We conducted two voting sessions:

1. Session 1: The entire Congress elected 15 members of the Executive Committee of the Economics Department Student Union for the 2017-2019 term from a pool of 21 candidates.
2. Session 2: The newly elected Executive Committee voted for positions such as Secretary, Deputy Secretaries under the supervision of Mr. Nguyen Le Duy, Deputy Secretary of the University's Youth Union.

The results of Session 1 were reported by the Ballot Committee at the Congress. We will provide specific details later. The results of Session 2 are as follows:

• Deputy Secretary: Comrade Tran Dang Nhan - Lecturer (fb: Tran Dang Nhan)
• Deputy Secretary: Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Khanh - Student (fb: Nguyen Phuoc Khanh)

Congratulations to all comrades who were elected to the Executive Committee of the Economics Department Student Union for the 2017-2019 term. Special congratulations to the Secretary and Deputy Secretaries for being entrusted with new responsibilities by the newly elected Executive Committee.

We hope that our group will work well with the new Executive Committee, especially comrade Nguyen Phuoc Khanh, the newly appointed Deputy Secretary, to have a successful and victorious term.
