Personal Financial Management Contest 2019 - How much money becomes more?

I. PURPOSE

- Raising students' awareness about the importance of personal financial management

- Providing basic and necessary financial knowledges, as well as reinforcing necessary skills to plan the personal financial problems

- Creating a place for students to experience, test and learn more about personal financial management, about teamwork skills and presentation skills

II. SUBJECTS AND CONTENTS OF EXAMINATION
1. Subjects:
- Students at all universities and colleges in Da Nang city;
- The number of universities/colleges is not limited.
2. Content of the exam: Focus on topics related to personal finance such as:
- Making and managing personal budgets (spending and investing plan).
- Modern personal banking services (savings; payment cards; ...)
- Taxes related to individuals and families (personal income tax, value-added tax, special consumption tax, non-agricultural land use tax, ...)
- Personal and family insurance services (life insurance, property, ...)

- State policies and regimes related to finance and banking to support life, production and business of individuals and households.

- Other issues related to personal finance

III. TIME, LOCATION AND MODE OF EXAMINATION
1. Time and place:
The competition takes place from March 2019 to April 2019 with 02 rounds of competition:
- Round 1: March 31, 2019;
- Round 2: April 7, 2019;

All rounds take place at the University of Economics - University of Danang, 71 Ngu Hanh Son, Danang.

2. Exam format
Exam format: by team (each team consists of 3 members)
1️⃣️ Round 1:
- Form: Each team will answer 20 questions (multiple choice and discuss) on basic issues related to economics, business and personal finance.
- Time: March 31, 2019 (Sunday)

- How to evaluate: based on the total number of questions answered correctly, 4 highest achievers teams will be selected to participate in the competition.

2️⃣ Round 2:
- 4 highest achievers teams in the Round 1 to participate in the Goals Round.
- Exam format: 3 parts
o Startup: Within 1 minute, each team starts with 12 questions on topics related to personal finance.

o Speedup: Crosswords and Hint Pictures

o Fnish: Answering a personal Finance related issue

- Time: April 7, 2019 (Sunday).
- Method of evaluation: Ranking based on the total score of 3 sections in the Final round.

IV. PRIZE
1) 01 First Prize:, Certificate and Bonus (VND 2 million);
2) 01 Second Prize: Certificate and Bonus (1.5 million VND);
3) 01 Third Prize: Certificate and Bonus (VND 1 million);
